MUBIC is a minimalist musical experience with a cube.

The game was made in Unity 4 Pro and features a cube, ~350 lines of code, and a bunch of FM8 synths. I worked on it for a total of about 14 hours during Ludum Dare 26, for which the theme was minimalism.

The game is played entirely with a mouse, using left-click; you can either click on sides of the cube, or click and drag to rotate it. Players are asked to figure out the rest of the game’s rules on their own – though there are some hints for those who get stuck.

Feel free to download a Windows desktop version, see the source code, or see how it did in the LD26 competition (where it took out 7th place for audio design!).
